OFFERING TO THE SPIRITUAL GUIDE
This is a special day of gratitude, remembering the kindness of our Spiritual Guide and requesting his blessings.
Venerable Geshe Kelsang Gyatso Rinpoche had passed into the clear light, September 17, 2022, and we engage in this practice to honour and thank him for his lifetime of kindness, compassion and wisdom, bringing dharma to so many, and to request blessings for our own and others’ spiritual attainments. This practice includes all the stages of lamrim, lojong and vajrayana mahamudra.
The 10th and 25th day of each month are special tsog days, where we make special offerings and requests for blessings to realize all of lamrim, lo-jong and mahamudra, the entire spiritual path.

You are welcome to join for all or part of this practice. You are invited to bring an offering such as fruit or other vegetarian food, if you can.
“We develop faith in our Spiritual Guide by regarding him as a living Buddha, the synthesis of all objects of refuge. Even though our Spiritual Guide may appear to us in a ordinary aspect we should avoid seeing faults in him and learn to see him as a Buddha instead. We need to develop deep faith in our Spiritual Guide and always keep a pure view of him.”
