Weekly Meditation Classes
Class fee for regular classes is $10, ($5 for students or limited income) and no one is turned away for lack of funds.
After daytime classes, we generally gather for tea, snacks and more conversation.

Our classes are designed to give a broad practical introduction to Buddhist meditation, teachings, and practice. They combine guided meditation with practical spiritual advice that you can immediately apply as a method for improving the quality of your daily life.
Through guided meditations, you will learn how to meditate, concentrate, and overcome distractions. You will also learn different meditation topics that help overcome negative states of mind, such as anger, stress and strong attachment, and cultivate positive states of mind, such as patience and love.
Is there a dress code?
No. Just dress comfortably and normally. The room temperature may change, so you may want to dress in layers.
Do I have to sit on a cushion?
No. We have comfortable chairs and most people sit in chairs. Cushions are available.
Is it wheelchair accessible?
Yes, Absolutely. There is a handicapped parking space directly in front, and a ramp.
Can I bring my child?
If they are old enough to sit quietly during a meditation. Unfortunately we do not have a separate room for kids, but they could be taken outside. Generally people do not bring young children.
