Everyone is welcome!

Our classes are designed to give a broad practical introduction to Buddhist meditation, teachings, and practice. They combine guided meditation with practical spiritual advice that you can immediately apply as a method for improving the quality of your daily life. Through guided meditations, you will learn how to meditate, concentrate, and overcome distractions. You will also learn different meditation topics that help  overcome negative states of mind, such as anger, stress and strong attachment, and cultivate positive states of mind, such as patience and love.

Everyone is welcome – just come and experience a class for yourself.

Frequently Asked Questions

Is there a fee for classes?

Yes. Everything is run by volunteers, but we rely on the payment of the classes to cover the rent and maintenance of our space. On the other hand, we don’t turn anyone away, so if you need a special arrangement, please let us know.

Is there a dress code?

No. Just dress comfortably and normally. The room temperature may change, so you may want to dress in layers.

Do I have to sit on a cushion?
No. We have comfortable chairs and most people sit in chairs. Cushions are available.
Can I bring my child?
If they are old enough to sit quietly during a meditation. Unfortunately we do not have a separate room for kids, but they could be taken outside. Generally people do not bring young children.

I have enjoyed, learned, and benefited from every class, puja, empowerment, lesson, session, or activity-event that I have attended. The Principles of Wisdom and Compassion taught can be applied to most any situation a person experiences (regardless of their religious beliefs).
