Special Guest Speaker: Kadam Ricc Bishop
Kadam Ricc Bishop, from Vajrapani Kadampa Buddhist Center in Orlando, FL, will give a talk titled “Healing With Wisdom.” Much of our pain comes from the way we hold things in the mind: we tend to see ourselves, our problems, and other people as solid and fixed, and we react with anxiety, anger, or attachment. In this talk, Kadam Ricc will explain how meditation on emptiness, the way things actually exist, can loosen the grip of these painful states. Through this wisdom, we can find a lasting inner peace and begin to heal from within.
